Course Description

Learning Objectives:
Define psychological safety and explain its organizational purpose.
Recognize that psychological safety is not experienced the same way by everyone but can be shaped by individual background, team culture, and national or regional culture.
Distinguish between "speak up" behavior and the broader organizational outcome psychological safety aims to achieve.
Describe at least two practices to help surface employee thinking.
Identify one concrete action to take to reduce the interpersonal cost of contributing honest input.
